All The Quirks Of Rome

Rome shines for all its cultural symbols, for the beauty of its monuments, the amiability of its inhabitants, for its crispy pizzas, and also for the enchantment of an unforgettable moped ride through the city, which you will remember always and enjoy telling the stories to children and grandchildren. So my advice is to rent a moped and start discovering Rome! A romantic route along the Via Cavour has wonderful views of Accommodation in Rome, the Roman Forum and the Coliseum before continuing to Piazza Venezia to see the monumental tribute to Vittorio Emmanuele II.

Later head towards the Tibre River passing by the Maximus Circus and the Temple of the Vesta before arriving at Tiberine Island, in the form of a boat, created to pay tribute to the God of Esculapio medicine whose serpent was taken to Epidurio to overcome the plague in 293 b.C. Later he was invited to wander the streets of the Jewish district to admire its synagogue with its immense bronze ceiling.

Your route now continues towards the magnificent basilica of Saint Pierre, with the impressive column of Bernini as a back-drop. Later, visit the Castle Saint Ange and the bridge of the same name, and not far from the altar of La Paz de Augusto, erected when the victorious emperor returned from Galia and Spain. From here there is a panorama of all the monuments lit up that will take your breath away.

Within just a few minutes you can see Piazzale Flaminio with the famous Piazza del Popolo, which long ago was the North entrance of Rome. Cross the park of Villa Borghese to arrive at the legendary Via Veneto, the elegant street of “La Dolce Vita”.

Tired? The excursion ends at the Fontana de Trevi where you can throw a coin into the fountain in order to one day return to Rome, the eternal city. It’s time to visit one of the numerous typical restaurants in the district before returning to the Apartments Rome for one romantic night…
